1.2083 Stainless Mold Steel Blocks Cut to Size
1.2083 is a quenched and tempered stainless plastic mold steel supplied at 48–52 HRC. It offers high resistance to acids, corrosion and stress, making it suitable for molds processing corrosive plastics such as PVC and acetates, especially when the mold has to work or be stored in humid environments. It is particularly recommended for PVC, PP, EP, PC and PMMA plastic parts that require stable surface quality and reliable mold life. Steel blocks can be cut to size and machined according to customer drawings.
