X12M is a ledeburitic carbon-molybdenum steel for hardware stamping dies, with a quenching hardness of 58–60 HRC. Its hardenability, wear resistance, and strength are all superior to Cr12 steel. Featuring uniform carbide distribution, it has significantly improved hot workability and impact toughness. It is suitable for heavy-duty cold stamping dies with complex cross-sections, thick plate deep drawing dies, thread rolling dies, etc.
