4Cr5MoSiV1 (equivalent to H13) is an air-hardening hot work tool steel. It achieves a quenching hardness of 48–52 HRC, featuring high heat resistance strength at 600℃, outstanding thermal fatigue resistance and molten aluminum erosion resistance, with dense microstructure, excellent isotropy, and minimal heat treatment distortion. It is suitable for aluminum and copper alloy die-casting dies, high-impact forging dies, and hot extrusion dies.
