H13 is an air-hardening hot work tool steel with high hot strength and good toughness at medium temperatures, suitable for ~600°C service. Typical hardness after heat treatment: HRC 48–52. Used for high-impact forging dies, hot extrusion dies, precision forging dies, and aluminum/copper alloy die casting molds.
