DC53 Mold Steel Blocks Cut to Size
DC53 is a cold work die steel with higher wear resistance than SKD11 and about 2× the toughness. Reduced residual stress after tempering helps minimize cracking/distortion after wire EDM. Typical hardness: HRC 58–60 (up to HRC 60–62); annealed ~HB255.
