NAK80 pre-hardened plastic mold steel supplied at 38–42 HRC (approx. HB 344–400). It offers good machinability, high hardness, excellent mirror polishability up to #8000 and outstanding dimensional stability and etchability. Ideal for mirror-finish plastic molds, EDM-finished automotive parts molds and simple-shape plastic molds that require high surface quality and tight dimensional accuracy. Steel blocks can be cut to size according to customer drawings.
