On July 22nd, Moldsteells took part in a two-day targeted charity mission to the mountainous regions of Guizhou Province, as part of a public welfare initiative organized for entrepreneurs from Dongguan.
During the event, every real and touching scene unfolded before our eyes — so close and so striking that it forced us to reflect deeply on our own lives. Most of the children in the mountainous areas are only in their teens, some even younger than ten. Many come from broken families or have lost both parents. Situations we hardly imagine in our daily lives were painfully real in front of us.
Only by stepping into their world did we come to understand the true meaning of poverty. These are feelings that cannot be captured by photos, videos, or online stories.
And yet, many of these children were outstanding in their way. The contrast between their lives and ours is stark, making us realize how much we take for granted. The Moldsteells team and their entrepreneur friends even brought their children along to experience this trip, hoping to instill in them a sense of gratitude and social responsibility.
As the children witnessed the hardships of others — faces filled with pain and resilience — many had tears in their eyes and voluntarily gave away their books, snacks, and pocket money. It was a heartwarming scene. Orphans receiving donations showed genuine gratitude with every smile.
There were many orphans we visited — some were bright and talkative, while others were shy and less academically inclined. But all of them shared something in common: incredible resilience. They weren’t afraid of hardship. They’re trying, each in their way, to overcome poverty and walk out of the mountains into a better life.
Moldsteells has personally sponsored two children (until they turn 18), while other participating entrepreneurs also made targeted donations. Through these acts of kindness, they expressed their sincere commitment to social responsibility — bringing warmth and hope to orphans in need.
As the saying goes: “Helping those in need is a traditional virtue of the Chinese people, and a shared responsibility of society.” Moldsteells has been part of this charity trip every year, not for recognition, but to spread the spirit of generosity — to influence others to join in and help these children build healthier, happier lives.
As a mold steel supplier known for speed and material quality, Moldsteells hopes to give back to society by using its modest strength to help those in need, and in doing so, fulfill the company’s sense of social value.
