420ESR Stainless Mold Steel Blocks Cut to Size
420ESR is a quenched and tempered stainless plastic mold steel supplied at 48–52 HRC. It provides high resistance to acids, corrosion and stress, making it suitable for molds processing corrosive plastics such as PVC and acetates, especially when the mold must operate or be stored in humid environments. It is particularly recommended for PVC, PP, EP, PC and PMMA plastic parts that require stable surface quality and long mold life. Steel blocks can be cut to size and machined according to customer drawings.
