1.2601 (Cr12MoV) Metal Stamping Mold Steel, Hardened 58-60 HRC, Custom Machining/Heat Treatment Supported for Complex Cold Stamping Dies
1.2601 (Cr12MoV) is a ledeburitic chromium-molybdenum steel with a lower carbon content than Cr12. The addition of molybdenum and vanadium optimizes its hot workability, impact toughness, and carbide distribution, resulting in superior hardenability, wear resistance, and strength. It achieves a quenching hardness of 58–60 HRC and is suitable for complex cold stamping dies such as punching die cavities and heavy plate deep drawing dies. Custom machining services, including milled plates, ground plates, and heat treatment, are available upon request.
